Figure 4 describes the correct removal of the fall arrester from the wire rope:

Attention!
The fall arrester must be removed from a safe position (down on the ground,
or when the user is separately secured by collective protective measures or by another fall arrest
system)!

Figure 5 describes how to correctly connect it to a harness:
The carabiner of the fall arrester is attached to the sternal fall
arrest eyelet (marked with an "A") of the full body harness (tested
according to EN 361). Before use, adjust the harness so that it
fits perfectly on the user's body and is not loose (see the instruc-
tions for use of the full body harness)

Observe the minimum and maximum rated load for the
user according to the marking on the fall arrester!
Attention!
If the webbing loosens during ascent or descent, it
must be readjusted from a safe position.
Attention!
It is absolutely forbidden to lengthen or shorten the
shock-absorbing lanyard of the fall arrester e.g. by adding or
removing a carabiner. Make sure that the carabiner is locked cor-
rectly!
