1. USE
The TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO system is a guided type fall arrester (TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO)
on a flexible or rigid anchor line (TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO Line). The fall arrester accompanies the
user during ascent and descent, and in the event of a fall, it immediately locks onto the rope and safe-
ly catches the user. The integrated shock absorber (TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO Absorber) reduces
the impact force to less than 6 kN and must always be inserted between the fall arrester and the user.
Table 1: The TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO fall arrester may only be used on specially tested and ap-
proved ropes. All permissible components are listed in the table.
