5. OPTIONAL HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE 

This section includes a brief description of the hardware and software options 

available for the Model 300E Gas Filter Correlation Carbon Monoxide Analyzer.

5.1. Rack Mount Option 

There are several options available for rack mounting the Analyzer. 

Option Number 

Description 

OPT 20A 

Rack mount with Chassis Slides 26 in.  

OPT 20B 

Rack mount with Chassis Slides 24 in. STD 

OPT 21 

Rack mount WITHOUT Chassis Slides. 

 

Each of these options, permits the Analyzer to be mounted in a standard 19" wide x 

30" deep RETMA rack.  

5.2. Zero/Span/Shutoff Valve Options 

There are four available options involving Zero/Span/Shutoff valves.  From an 
operational and software standpoint, all of the options are the same, only the 

source of the span and zero gases are different.  

The user can control the valves comprising these options from the front panel 
keyboard either manually or by activating the instruments AutoCal feature See 

Section 7.4).   

The valves may also be opened and closed remotely via the RS-232/485 Serial I/O 

ports (see Section 6.9) or External Digital I/O Control Inputs (See Section 6.7.2).
