10. Press
SELECT
to select the zoom function, then use the arrow keys to zoom
in on the event at 1 km so that the top of the pulse is visible and the window
shows approximately 100 m. See figure 4–19.

11. Press SELECT to select the cursor function, then use the arrow keys to
position cursor A at approximately 50 meters past the rising edge of the
reflection.
12. Press and hold the
Cursor A/Cursor B
softkey to join the cursors.
13. Select cursor B and use the arrow keys to move the cursor towards the pulse
until the loss difference between cursor A and cursor B is 0.5 dB. (Select the
point where the difference is 0.5 dB and no greater.)
