6.1.2.1 CN1-Temperature Detection Port for External Battery Pack
The UPS is equipped with battery temperature detection function. UPS can receive battery temperature signal
through the temperature detection board. Communication between the UPS and battery temperature detection
board is via I2C communication protocol. CN1 is the battery temperature detection port. The port is shown below
and described in Table 6-1.

6.1.2.2 CN2-EPO (Emergency Power OFF) connector
The UPS is equipped with an emergency power off function (EPO - Emergency Power Off): to activate the
emergency shutdown, simply connect an external contact to terminals 1 and 2 of the EPO connector. The logic of
activation of the EPO function can also be set via the LCD panel: the logic can be N.C. (Normally Closed contact)
or N.O. (Normally Open contact). The activation of EPO function causes UPS immediate shutdown.
