The PTX_SETUP Commands
FILE_IO
(DISK_IO)
RUNFILE
File;Prop
The RUNFILE command will open
the file named File for printing. After
the PTX_END command is
processed, the contents of File will
get printed before any more data is
read from the host. If the Prop field
is present, RUNFILE will verify that
Prop matches the saved file
properties. Any mismatch will cause
the command to be ignored.
UPLOAD
File;Port
Reads the file named File out of the
flash file system and sends it to a
host computer via the Port I/O port.
Port is either 1284 (for reverse
nibble or byte mode transfer using
the parallel port), or SERIAL.
NOTE: if the Ethernet option is
installed, 1284 is used to upload
across the network.

OPTIMIZE

Causes the printer to optimize the
Flash File System. The printer
automatically reboots during this
process.
