TRANSPORT
SECURING THE MACHINE
After loading the machine at the specified position, secure it as described below.
TRANSPORTING POSTURE
1. Lower the dozer blade.
2. Set the hoe attachment posture as above.
3. Raise the safety lock lever to the lock position, and engage the brake pedal lock and
parking brake lock.
4. Stop the engine, remove the starter key and lock all locks.
5. Lock the slew and the boom swing with the slew/swing lock pin.
6. Place the stoppers (chocks) in front of and behind the tires.
7. Install chains or wire rope over the lower frame of the machine and fasten it securely to
prevent the machine from slipping sideways.
8. Secure the bucket with chains or wire rope.
9. For machines with outriggers, lower the outriggers.
IMPORTANT: Place a wooden block under the bucket to protect the floor from damage
caused by the bucket.
