On the Series 384X screen, the top and bottom lines of the menu are displayed, and
the remaining lines are viewed by scrolling. In this menu, pressing <CLEAR> has the
same effect as selecting Exit.
4. The Series 384X initially is set to NOBOOT mode. To configure the terminal for
operation, set up the parameters provided in Table 4-1 (the procedures are detailed
in the steps below).
Table 4-1. Spectrum24 Configuration Parameters
Net Id
The Net Id identifies the radio network and differentiates
between different radio networks. All equipment on one
network must use the same Net Id.
Set to the same value specified for the Spectrum24 Access Points
(APs).
Boot Mode
The boot mode indicates the source of the terminal’s IP address.
If this value is set to “Manual entry”, you must enter a terminal
IP address through CFG24.
