Replacement of the existing files by the new ones
This option is used in remote mode and for the files created with the use of
Auto Save
function. The result of an attempt to save a file with a name,
which already exists in the memory, depends on the setting of the
Replace
parameter. If the position is active then the old file will be erased and the
new file will be saved with the same name.
The message is displayed that such command is not available in case this
position is not active
– cf. the description of the
Save
. Otherwise, the
existing file is overwritten.
Controlling the measurement results savings
Using
Auto Save
the user can set the self-saving of the measurement
results with automatic name number increment (
Number)
or without it (
Off
).
This position was established in order not to waste too much memory of the
instrument when the self-saving is not necessary. The
Auto Name
position
appears after switching on the
Auto Save
function.
Note: The Auto Save function can be performed only in case when the Measure Period value
(path: Menu / Measurement / General Settings) is not less than 10 seconds. If it is less than
10 seconds, the measurement results are not saved
and this is indicated with the message
! There
is only one exception - when Repetition No. (path: Menu / Measurement / General Settings) is
equal to one, the Auto Save function is executed disregarding of the value of the integration period.
When the
Measure Period
is too short for the
Auto Save
option or the
Repetition No.
is not equal to one the following message appears on the
display:
When the
Auto Save
option is active, after starting the measurements by pressing the
<Start/Stop>
push-
button the results are saved in the file with the selected name.
Another measurement is started after pressing the
<Start/Stop>
push-button again. The measurement is
stopped after the selected
Measure Period
(
path: Menu / Measurement / General Settings
). The file name
numbers of the saved files are automatically incremented by one.
Edition the name of the Auto Save file
The
Auto Name
position, which became
active if
Auto Save
is
On
, enables the user
to edit the name of the Auto Save file. To
edit the file name, the user should press the
<
>
push-button. The text editing window
is opened.
