INSTALLATION
Reinstall the air cleaner box and fuel
tank in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Check that the fuel tank drain
hose and breather hose are not bent
before reinstalling the fuel tank.
FUEL HOSE
Inspect the fuel hose for damage and
fuel leakage. If any defects are found,
the fuel hose must be replaced.
NOTICE
Improper installation of the spark
plug can damage your motorcycle.
An overly-tight or cross-threaded
spark plug will damage the alumi-
num threads of the cylinder head.
Carefully turn the spark plug by
hand into the threads. If the spark
plug is new, tighten it with a
wrench about 1/2 turn past finger
tight. If you are reusing the old
spark plug, tighten it with a
wrench about 1/8 turn past finger
tight.
NOTICE
Dirt can damage the moving
engine parts of your motorcycle if
it enters an open spark plug hole.
Cover the spark plug hole while
the spark plug is out of the hole.
