perform maintenance more often than

Servicing electric parts with the
ignition switch in the “ON” posi-
tion can damage the electric parts
when the electric circuit is
shorted.
Turn off the ignition switch before
servicing the electric parts to
avoid short-circuit damage.

Poorly-made replacement parts
can cause your motorcycle to
wear more quickly and may
shorten its useful life.
When replacing parts on your
vehicle, use only genuine Suzuki
replacement parts or their equiva-
