Coolant Temperature Indicator
When the ignition switch is turned to
the “ON” position, the display shows
the test pattern for 3 seconds. Then
the display changes to the coolant
temperature indicator. While the cool-
ant temperature is below 19°C, the
display does not indicate a number
but indicates
“

”.
When the coolant temperature is
higher than 120°C, the display tem-
perature, symbol “
” blinks and the
indicator light
E
comes on. Further, if
the temperature exceeds 140°C, the
display shows “HI”, symbol “
”
blinks and the indicator light
E
remains on. When the coolant tem-
perature indicator light comes on,
stop the engine and check the coolant
level after engine cools.
Oil Pressure Indicator
When the ignition switch is in the
“ON” position but the engine has not
been started, the symbol “

display and the indicator light
E
comes on. As soon as the engine is
started, the symbol “

indicator light should go out.
When the engine oil pressure drops
under the normal operating range, the
symbol “
” in the display appears
and the indicator light
E
comes on.
