to obtain approximately 10 – 15
mm (0.4 – 0.6 in) of free play at
the clutch lever end as indicated.

after finish-
ing adjustment.
NOTE: Any maintenance of the clutch
other than the clutch cable play
should be performed by your Suzuki
dealer.
COOLANT
COOLANT LEVEL
The coolant should be kept between
the “F” (FULL) and the “L” (LOW) level
lines in the reservoir tank at all times.
Inspect the level every time before
riding with the motorcycle held verti-
cally. If the coolant is found lower than
the “L” level line, add specified engine
coolant in the following way:
NOTE:
•
Check the coolant level when the
engine is cold.
•
If the engine coolant reservoir is
empty, check the radiator coolant
level.
1. Place the motorcycle on the side
stand.
2. Remove the right fairing by refer-
ring to the ENGINE OIL section.
