FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL
1. Place the motorcycle on the side
stand.
2. Remove the front wheel speed
sensor by removing the mounting
bolt. (GSX-R1000A)
3. Remove both brake calipers from
the front forks by removing 2
mounting bolts

on each of the
calipers.
NOTE: Never squeeze the front brake
lever with the caliper removed. It is
very difficult to force the pads back
into the caliper assembly and brake
fluid leakage may result.
4. Remove the nut

5. Loosen the axle holder bolts

6. Loosen the axle holder bolts

7. Place an accessory service stand
or equivalent under the swingarm
to help stabilize the rear end.
8. Carefully position a jack under the
exhaust pipe and raise until the
front wheel is slightly off the
ground.
