2. Press either of the tuning buttons brief-
ly until the frequency of the desired station
is displayed.
3. Press one of the preset buttons for at
least two seconds to store the frequen-
cy. The frequency of the station will flash
once on the display at this time. If the but-
ton is pressed for less than two seconds,
the preceding selection will remain in
memory.
NOTE
If the connection between the radio
and battery is broken for any reason
such as vehicle maintenance or radio
removal, all stations stored for the pre-
set buttons are cleared. If this occurs,
it is necessary to preset the desired
stations again.

Preset scan
The radio receives each memorized pre-
set station (frequency) for 10 seconds. To
start a preset scan, press the “RPT” but-
ton during radio reception. To stop the
preset scan, press the “RPT” button
again.

Local seek function
You can turn the local seek function on or
off during FM, MW or LW reception by
pressing the “DISP” button for at least one
second.

Radio Data System (RDS) on FM
RDS is a system in which inaudible digital
information is transmitted in addition to
normal FM radio broadcasts. Your car ra-
dio uses the RDS information to offer you
many benefits.

Alternative frequencies (AF)
If the vehicle moves beyond the area of
the station that the radio is receiving and
