6 Assembly
6.1 Special safety guidelines
CAUTION
Risk of accidents due to non-observance of the safety guidelines
There is a risk of accidents if the general safety guidelines are not observed.
► All safety guidelines must be observed, see section 2.
6.2 Pre-mounting condition
The clutch is supplied pre-mounted. The coil body (1) and inner body (2) are one assembly unit each and are
delivered pre-mounted. If the carrier (4) is not provided, the armature plate (3), retaining bolts (7) and locking
springs (6) are enclosed separately. If the carrier is provided (on request), this is loosely inserted in the toothing
of the armature plate. Retaining bolts and locking springs are enclosed separately.
The bore of the inner body is delivered greased. A corrosion protection is applied to all other areas.
6.3 Conditions for assembly and fixing
The following conditions for assembly and fixing must be observed:
• Obtain the binding dimensions from the dimensional drawing, see section 4.3.
• Observe the technical specifications, see section 4.
6.3.1 Special tools
The following special tools are required for assembly:
• anti-magnetic feeler gauge for air gap control
