On request the clutch can be supplied with switching status monitoring, to determine and assess the position of
the armature plate (3).
This eliminates meshing problems such as head-on-head positions, ensuring safe engagement of the coupling.
The armature plate is additionally equipped with a control disc (26) for this purpose.
A proximity transducer (27) is attached to the coil body (1) with the help of a bracket (28) in such a way that it
can be fixed to the control disc in a specific position.
The required distance dimension (X) for this can be obtained from the dimensional drawing, see section 4.3.
When moving the control disc closer to the proximity transducer, the contact will close once the switching point
has been reached.
NOTE
Setting instructions for the inductive proximity transducer can be requested from Stromag’s Customer
Care department (doc. 576-00433).
A three-conductor line is required to connect the proximity transducer (27).
