Unpacking
The transportation route is decisive in terms of the type of packing. The information marked on the packing must
be observed.
CAUTION
Risk of accidents caused by loose components falling down
In some cases, the assembly groups do not create an interference fit with each other.
► Always hook on and lift the assembly groups individually.
RECYCLING
Dispose of the packaging material according to the local guidelines properly and in an environmental-
ly-friendly way.
3.3
Scope of delivery
On receipt, check the delivery for completeness using the packing list. Any damage incurred during transporta-
tion and/or missing parts must be reported immediately, see section 11.2 for the address.
CAUTION
Risk of accidents caused by loose components falling down
The clutch is supplied in pre-mounted assembly groups. In some cases, the assembly groups are not
positively locked to each other and are only secured by cable straps for transportation.
► Never lift assembly groups at the same time that are only connected by cable straps. The cable
straps may tear and falling components may lead to injuries.
► Always hook on and lift the assembly groups individually.
3.4
Storage
ATTENTION
Damage to the clutch caused by incorrect storage
Incorrect storage can lead to damage to the components of the clutch. Only store the clutch under the
following conditions:
► Do not store outdoors.
► Store in a dry and dust-free place.
► Do not expose to aggressive media.
► Avoid mechanical vibrations.
► Storage temperature: +10 °C to +35 °C.
► Maximum relative humidity, 65 %.
For storage periods longer than 3 months, the general condition of all parts and the packing must be checked
regularly. If required, refresh or renew the preserving agent. Stromag’s Customer Care can provide you with in-
formation on this, please refer to section 11.2 for the address.
NOTE
Details for storage on the packing pieces going beyond the conditions specified here must be ob-
served.
