Mechanical dangers
Danger due to destruction of the clutch and parts being ejected during:
• Operating the device outside of the application limits
• Using screws, pins or similar that do not have sufficient strength
• Using unsuitable spare parts and spare parts that have not been approved by the manufacturer
Danger posed by rotating parts as a result of:
• Operation without separating safety device or housing.

Electrical danger
Danger due to contact with live components:
• defect; open covering/casing
• electrical overstressing,
• improper work on the electrical equipment
2.6.3
Thermal dangers
Danger posed by contact with hot surfaces/components when:
• Working on the clutch after removing the separating safety device or housing,
• Carrying out work on the clutch without personal protective equipment

mentation.
2.7.1
Warning symbols
Required safety guidelines are indicated in the documentation through pictograms and in addition begin with
signal words that emphasise the extent of damage to be expected.
The safety guidelines are structured as follows:
SIGNAL WORD
Type and source of the hazard
Possible consequences of non-observance, as well as explanations of the source of the hazard.
► Measures/handling instructions to be followed in order to avoid hazards or any damage.
