Draining the water circuit
The water circuit must be drained if the device will not be used for several weeks.
• Make sure that the device is standing on a level surface.
• Press
to load F-SW operating mode.
• Press
.
• In the open menu list, select the
function.
• Connect the water bag to the DUOLITH
®
SD1 and put it on the floor when
prompted to do so.
The water hose connection on the DUOLITH
®
SD1 is located on the rear of
the module.

Confirm by pressing OK.
– A progress display indicating that the water circuit is draining is displayed at the
bottom left of the display.
In order to drain the water circuit of the DUOLITH
®
SD1 completely, the water in the
handpiece must be drained as well.
A prompt to this effect appears on the display:
• Hold the handpiece in an upright position above the device to optimise the water
flow from the device.
• Make sure that the coupling diaphragm of the handpiece is pointing upwards.
