sect.1.3 CHECKLIST
PRIOR TO DELIVERY
Before the machine is delivered to the customer it is
ESSENTIAL to carry out the following checks.
Each box ticked indicates that the check has been carried
out.
Check that no parts are damaged, missing or out of
place after transit.
Check that all of the screws are in place and properly
tightened.
Check that the hydraulic components have not been
damaged (oil leaks, defective tubes, incorrect
connections,…).
Check that the oil level in the gear motor of the mixing
unit, in the cutter unit and in the oil tank is correct (if it is
not, top up as indicated in the table on pages 41 - 44).
Check that the chains and moving parts supplied with
greasing nipples have been properly greased (as specified
in the table on page 40).
Check that the nuts for wheel mounting are tight and
also check the tyre pressure (see specifications in the
table on page 39).
Check that all the safety devices and SAFETY decals
are affixed in the correct positions.
Check that the machine model and serial number match
the data on the ID plate as described on page 10 and that
the machine is conforming to the customer's order.
Check the guards protecting the cardan shaft (they must
be free and must not turn with the shaft).
Check that all the moving parts (unloading belt, feed
screw chains, etc.) are properly adjusted and can rotate
freely.
Finally, connect the machine to a suitably powered tractor,
as specified in the Specifications on page 14. Start the
inspection process and ensure that the number of
revolutions of the cardan shaft does not exceed 540.
I confirm that the checks performed prior to machine
delivery have been carried out as indicated above.
