Sect. 6.11 REPLACEMENT OR REGISTRATION OF AUGER CUTTERS, HUSKY MT
Before starting any operations on the auger, uncouple the cardan shaft from the tractor.
Note : when replacing the cutters, first remove worn parts starting from the back side of the mixing body. When installing new
cutters, start from the front of the mixing body.
This operation requires caution. We recommend performing it in pairs, one operator inside the mixing body and the other
outside the body to pass cutters and screws.
Moreover, wear PPE such as safety footwear, anti-cutting gloves and anti-cutting clothes, ect.
Important: the auger must be turned manually by the operator outside the mixing body using the supplied tool (2, fig. 2).
1) Switch the machine off, remove the keys and put them in your pocket.
2 Disconnect the cardan shaft from the power takeoff (1, fig. 1).
3) Insert the supplied spanner (2, fig. 2) in the power takeoff (3, fig. 2).
