OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
1) Switch the machine off,
remove the keys and put them in your pocket.
2) Remove the cardan shaft from the power takeoff (1, fig.1).
3) Remove the fitting with the pipe (2, fig. 1).
4) Remove the nipple (3, fig.1) taking care not to damage the aluminium
ROTOFLUX

(4, fig.1).
5) Insert the supplied spanner (5, fig. 2) in the power takeoff (6, fig. 2) in order to turn it
ANTICLOCKWISE
(in the same
direction of the cardan) by approx. 15-20 revolutions. This enables removing possible clogging from the augers.
6) Release the auger, reinstall the
NIPPLE
(3, fig. 1) with the copper washer: be careful not to tighten the
ROTOFLUX
joint
EXCESSIVELY
and eventually damage it.
7) Put the fitting back with the pipe (2, fig. 1).
8) Put the cardan shaft (1, fig. 1) back on the power takeoff.

1.Turn the auger using the tool provided with the machine until the cutter is aligned in the same direction as the stationary
blade.
2.Loosen the bolts and adjust the cutter until there is a 1 mm gap between the cutter and the stationary blade. Tighten the
bolts.
3.Turn until the next cutter and repeat the operation above.
Note:
This operation is also required to improve the cutting effect of worn cutters.
