Preparation:

 Remove flywheel, refer 01.03 

 

 

 Remove radial shaft sealing ring

 
 
1.  Mount special tool No. VR00107/0 to press 

in the rear radial shaft sealing ring. 

 

NOTE: 

Specified tool enables a replacement 

of the radial shaft seal with assembled engine 
housing.

 

2.  Press radial shaft sealing into rear ring 

carrier by means of special tool  
No. VR00107/0. 

 

NOTE: 

M8-collar screw must be removed 

during assembly of the radial shaft seal and 
collar screw must be tightened and sealed 
according recommendation in 01.06.02/p. 6.
