Operator Manual

Routine Maintenance

6.5.3 Clean Water Inlet

Strainer

Strainer, located in the incoming water line to vapor condenser, must
be cleaned once every three months.

Set

POWER-OFF/STANDBY

switch to

STANDBY

. Lock

disconnect switch in OFF position and close building supply
valves.

Pull out strainer screen from body.

Using a wire brush or steel wool, scrape all rust and residue from
strainer screen and body. Ensure all perforations are clear, by
poking open with a wire. Replace screen if damaged or cor-
roded.

Verify no dirt or other particles remain in strainer body. Insert
screen into strainer body.

Using pipe joint sealing compound, replace and tighten hex
cap.

Verify all pipe connections are tight and leak free after reassem-
bly.

Re-energize washer utilities.
