8.1.9 Controller
Control zones overview.
The following values are displayed in the overview:
- Control zone number
- Designation of the control zone
- Set value
- Actual value
- Dimension
- Manipulated output Y [%]
- State:
“Auto” Normal controller operation
“Manual” Controller output set to man. value
“DISA” DisableAuto: Controller in normal
control operation but deactivated at present
“DISH” DisableHand: Controller output set on manual value but deactivated at present
“Opti”Self-optimization of control zone is active (in such a case the headline flashes)
- Limit value “G”:
“↑”in case of an overshooting of the upper control zone limit values
“↓”in case of an undershooting of the upper control zone limit values
- Tolerance “T”:
“+” in case of overshooting the plus tolerance
“-“ in case of undershooting the minus tolerance
The following parameters are set by selecting a control zone:
- Auto, Manual, DisableAuto and DisableHand (Manual - inching operation only possible in the detail view!)
A currently activated self-optimization of any control zone
Note
is signalized by flashing of the column headline!
The following values are represented by selecting a control zone:
PID Parameter (Xp = proportional (amplifying factor), Tn = integral (re-adjusting time), Tv = differential (rate time)
Controller values (limit value low / high, tolerance, minus tolerance, plus tolerance)

The following values of the selected control zone are represented:
- Control loop
actual value, set value, dimension,
deviation, manipulated variable, state
- Control values
limit value low / high, tolerance - / +
- PID parameter
parameter set number, and set parameter
Xp, Tn, Tv for the range A (0…+100 %) and B
(-100…0 %) as well as the designation of
controller type
Button: Manual /Auto and Y(+) / Y(-)
Switch over of the manipulated variable to the manual mode via
dialog window,
switch back to the automatic mode directly without dialog window!
The Y(+) and Y(-) buttons are only active, if the displayed controller is from “3-point-step” type and the state of the controller
output is already in manual mode by means of the “Manual” button.
