PLC example for triggering the data logger
Select and release time cycle 1:
L FI 964 If time cycle 2 is active
R FI 964 then reset for time cycle selection 1 is active
LN FI 965 If release time cycle is not active
S FI 965 the set release time cycle active
Evaluation for process start: Start data recording (triggered by start key on the programmer page):
L FO 1311 If process start (triggered by start button)
= FI 961 then batch recording start
The programmer start takes place after 5 seconds in this example in order to clarify that the data recording may also contain a possibly
preparation phase for the real program start:
L FO 1311 If process start (triggered by start button)
A FO 1305 and if batch recording is active
S TN 1 then after 5 seconds
L CS 5
L TN 1
= FI 809 Start of the programmer
Take back process start as soon as the programmer is active:
L FO 768 Programmer active
R FO 1311 Process start reset
Monitoring for the end of data recording and then, in this example, terminate data recording after 5 seconds:
L FO 1305 If batch recording active
AN FO 1311 and not process start
AN FO 768 and programmer not active:
S TN 2 then after 5 seconds
