Y-tracking
NOTE:
For the control shutter position a specified actual value is configured (with a range of 0..100.0 %). The number of this
potentiometer actual value must be entered under “poti actual value”, and the Y-tracking must be started separately for
each controller.
In case of Y-tracking a stored shutter value is activated automatically; the appurtenant previous position of the shutter is
restored. If this is not successful (e.g. if the potentiometer fails), the Y-tracking procedure is cancelled after the configured
motor running time (0..100 %).
There exists one function input (Start Y-tracking, impulse of 200 msec minimum) (FI 1121 ...) and one function output (Y-
tracking active) (FO 1281 …) for each control zone. Y-tracking cannot be activated if the control zone is switched off (Function
Inputs 0025..0044, “PID control zone OFF/ON”).
The potentiometer actual values are continuously actualized in the memory of the instrument. Additionally they are stored in
a separate memory section
- after hardware reset;- after hardware reset;
- after power failure; the last potentiometer value before the power failure is stored, regardless of the actual shutter
position after POWER-ON;
- if function input FI 1144 is activated (impulse of 200 msec). After the storage function output FO 1304 is set
automatically for acknowledgement, and reset when Y-tracking is started again.
