are legally obliged to dispose of their products, you can, of course return the unit to your local
supplier.
•
This type of product is generally prohibited from being disposed of as ordinary household refuse
because of the plastics and electronic components used during manufacture. If you decide to dispose
of the unit yourself, please bear the following environmental information in mind:
The "fitvibe" vibration unit and its components can be classified as follows:
•
The vibration plate, control panel, cable, straps and soft mats are categorised as electronic scrap
or small chemical waste. These components contain, among other things, lead, zinc, copper,
iron, various other metals and various types of plastics. In the majority of cases, this waste is
treated as chemical waste and must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations which
apply to your area.
•
Packaging materials and manuals are recyclable. This material can be brought to an appropriate
recycling centre or disposed of in household refuse depending on the waste disposal regulations
in your area.
The disposal methods described here also apply when disposing of the unit’s accessories.
