__5) Connect four hole brackets to posts: Now you need to
install the Four Hole Brackets to the posts. The top of the barrier,
NOT THE ARCH, should be 38” from the surface of the deck to
the top of the barrier. Once you have the top of the barrier at the
correct height tighten the two 3/8” x 1” Button Head bolts (6). The
Four-Hole Brackets get installed with the Self-Tapping Screws (4)
and Attachment Bracket Gaskets (5) make sure that the hole for the
3/8x 3/8” set screw is pointing down.
TIP: It’s easier to install
the self-tapping screws if you pre drill the holes in the post with
a #7 drill bit by marking the hole locations with a dry erase
marker after you have put the guard wall into position.
Install
the Self-Tapping Screws into the holes you have drilled in the posts
with the Attachment Bracket Gasket between the post and Four
Hole Attachment Bracket. (See detail B)
__6) Secure the Arch Wall to the Attachment Bracket: Install
and tighten the 3/8” x 3/8” Set Screw (5) in the Four -Hole Bracket.

__7) Dig footing hole: Referencing the footing cutaway drawings
on page 3, the footing layout and elevation views on page 4 of this
components instruction set along with the main footing diagram on
page 5 of the installation guide, mark and dig the footings as
instructed for the corkscrew Climber (1). (Footing depth is 24” less
the amount of surfacing used plus the thickness of the blocking
material).
