Feed Pump Module: Mount the feed pump module on a
vertical surface, which can be up to 3feet (1.0M) above the
waterline. It is preferable to mount as low as possible. Lo-
cate in an area that allows easy access to the filter housing
and the left side of the enclosure. Place where water spills
during filter changes will not be a problem, and keep future
maintenance in mind. The feed pump has overheat protec-
tion and will not operate properly at ambient temperatures
over 120F (48C).
Note: When plumbing the Catalina feed pump module, route the feed water hose so that the
front cover may be opened without removing the hose or tubing. All tubing connections are made
using John Guest connectors, shown on page 22. After assembling all plumbing fittings, thorough-
ly check for leaks.
