Step E – Maintain Load for 2 minutes
When the S3 segment has been set for a “Pump up to” load, for our
example program the next step is to either apply a Hold Time or a
Release rate to a lower tonnage load. In our example a Maintain Load
Hold Time with auto “top up” has been selected at 2 minutes for S4.
When S3 has been set (accepted) from the previous step D, S# is
illuminated on the Menu Bar. Press the accept button (

) and the
slider cursor bar is displayed. Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) button to
select segment S4 and then press the accept button (
16
). The screen
will change to illuminate the EDIT symbol on the Menu Bar. Press the
accept button (
16
). The various programming symbols will appear in
the Menu Bar.
Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) button to illuminate the Set Hold Time
symbol with auto “top up” and press the accept button (
16
) to select.
Next, set a time in minutes from the slider bar function from the range
set between 0.1 and 99.9 minutes. (An infinite hold time is selected as
0 (zero) minutes). Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) button until you have
selected 2.0 minutes.
Note:
Holding the left (14) or right (15) button down will accelerate
the time change interval.
Press the accept button (
16
) to save the time.
Segment S4 is now filled
with the Maintain Load Hold Time with auto “top up” symbol, 2.0 and m
as seen in PGM1.
Step F – Release Load to 0.0 tons
When the S4 segment has been set with a Hold Time the next logical
step is to either apply a different “Pump up to” load or a Release
function. In our example the Slow Release Rate has been chosen for
S5. When S4 has been set (accepted) from the previous step E, S# is
illuminated on the Menu Bar. Press the accept button (

) and the
slider cursor bar is displayed. Use the left (

) or right (
15
) button to
select segment S5 and then press the accept button (
16
). The screen
will change to illuminate the EDIT symbol on the Menu Bar. Press the
