Atlas™ Auto 40T Hydraulic Press

Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) button to illuminate the General Release
Rate symbol and then press the accept button (
16
). A sub menu of the
three different release rate symbols appear. (Fast, Medium and Slow).
Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) buttons to select the Medium release rate
symbol and press the accept button (
16
).
Next, set a load to “release to” from the slider bar function of the range
set between 4 and 15 tons. (In this particular example 15 tons would
be the upper limit of the range as this was the last tonnage load set on
the press).
Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) button until you have selected
7.0 tons. Press the accept button (
16
) to save the load. Segment S2 is
now filled with the Medium Release Rate symbol, 7.0 and T as seen in
PGM1.
Step D – Apply Load of 20 tons
When the S2 segment has been set for a release rate of load to a
specific load, for our example program the next step could be to either
apply a different “Pump up to” load, a Hold Time or a different Release
Rate to a lower tonnage load. In our example the load to apply has
been set to 20 tons for S3. When S2 has been set (accepted) from the
previous step C, S# is illuminated on the Menu Bar. Press the accept
button (
16
) and the slider cursor bar is displayed. Use the left (
14
) or
right (
15
) button to select segment S3 and then press the accept
button (
16
). The screen will change to illuminate the EDIT symbol on
the Menu Bar. Press the accept button (
16
). The various programming
symbols will appear in the Menu Bar.
Use the left (
14
) or right (
15
) button to illuminate the Apply Load
symbol and then press the accept button (
16
). The sequence for
setting the load to apply with the slider cursor is invoked. (Note, the
range to select will be from 7 tons as a minimum to 40 tons as a
maximum, because 7 tons was the last load set on the press). Use the
left (
14
) or right (
15
) button to move the cursor on the slider to the
appropriate 20 ton load and then press the accept button (
16
). The
segment S3 will be filled with the Apply Load symbol, 20.0 and T as
seen in PGM1.
