Using the Ch1/Ch2 
Simultaneous Recording 
Function

This function allows automatic Ch2 recording (2K) 
during Ch1 recording (4K).

In [Ch1/Ch2 Simul Rec] mode, the 4K signals input to 
Ch2 are downconverted to 2K 1920×1080 format and 
recorded while Ch1 recording (4K) is in progress.

Configuring Settings for Ch1/Ch2 
Simultaneous Recording

Configure the following settings in the [User Settings] 
screen - [Recording] tab.

[Ch1/Ch2 Rec Mode]

Select [Ch1/Ch2 Simul Rec].

[Ch2 Rec Format]

Select 2D or 3D.

For details on the [Recording] tab, see “Configuring 
Recording Settings” (page 35).

When using 2D input signals, 2D mode will be used 
regardless of the [Ch2 Rec Format] setting.

Performing Ch1/Ch2 Simultaneous 
Recording

Operations for Ch1/Ch2 simultaneous recording are 
identical to those for Ch1 recording.
When you press the 

z

 REC button, recording for Ch1 

starts and triggers recording for Ch2 to start.

Using the Ch1 2K 
Recording Function

This function records 1920 × 1080, 59.94p/50p signals 
input to SDI input connector C in 1920 × 1080 (1080p) 
resolution.
Still images will also be recorded in 1920 × 1080 size.

• Signals to connectors other than SDI input connector C 

will be ignored.

• Ch2 is disabled during [Ch1 2K Rec] mode.
• This function does not support color gamut 

configuration and the color gamut conversion function.

Configuring Settings for Ch1 2K 
Recording

Configure the following settings in the [User Settings] 
screen - [Recording] tab.

[Ch1/Ch2 Rec Mode]

Select [Ch1 2K Rec].

For details on the [Recording] tab, see “Configuring 
Recording Settings” (page 35).

The recording mode will be fixed at 2D.

Performing Ch1 2K Recording

Press the 

z

 REC button for Ch1 to start recording.

Limitations during Playback and 
Output

• Videos and still images recorded in [Ch1 2K Rec] mode 

can only be played back in [Ch1 2K Rec] mode. In 
addition, videos and still images recorded in modes 
other than [Ch1 2K Rec] mode cannot be played back 
in [Ch1 2K Rec] mode.

• The display mode in the [MENU] screen will be fixed 

at 2D.
