Notifying an alarm event by audio via a
network
When the alarm recording starts, it can be notified to
the PC connected via a network by the original sound.
The sound file stored in the specified folder is
repeatedly played back per 1 second.

Create the original sound for warning (WAV file).

Rename the file and save it as follows:
C:\BUZZER\BUZZER.WAV
To stop the warning sound
To stop the warning sound from playing while an
alarm is being recorded, click the Playback-Stop
button on the operating panel.
Downloading picture and audio being
monitored
When you connect to a network with ID2 or ID3,
“SAVE TO PC”

is displayed on the screen.

Activate the download function.
Choose ‘ON’ from the SAVE TO PC

pulldown
menu.
To save audio, set the AUDIO switch

to ‘ON’.
Refer to “Transmitting audio via a network” on page 75 for
the setup of the AUDIO switch.
When you click on the SET button

, audio buffering
begins, and the picture area changes to the status of

This status remains until the audio buffer becomes full.
The buffering time depends on the AUDIO setup

When the audio buffer becomes full, you can view the
pictures and hear the audio.
