Camera Connections and
Settings
Connect cameras to the camera connectors as in the
illustration on the previous page.
Detecting cameras
By activating the camera detection function in the
submenu 2. CAMERA DETECT of the main menu
1.INITIAL SET, the settings for unconnected cameras
are automatically set to OFF.

Select 1.INITIAL SET from the main menu.

Select 2.CAMERA DETECT and turn the Shuttle
dial clockwise.
A message for confirmation appears.

Select YES and turn the Shuttle dial clockwise.
The camera detection function is activated.
When detection is completed, the initial settings
such as the initial setting in the automatic
switching operation (page 21) are set to OFF.
Setting the titles
You can register titles for each camera to indicate the
camera location (ex. ROOM 1, ROOM 2 ) etc.
Characters that can be used in titles
Alphabetics: A to Z
Numerics: 0 to 9
Symbols: - (hyphen), : (colon), . (period),
/ (slash), * (asterisk), space

Select 1. INITIAL SET from the main menu.

Select 3. TITLE SET from the submenu.
A camera picture is displayed full-screen, and a
figure line for title setting is superimposed.

Select the camera picture to be set using the
INPUT SELECTOR buttons.

Select a character at the cursor using the Jog dial,
then turn the Shuttle dial clockwise.
The cursor moves to the next position.

Select the desired characters and figures for the
title (max. 10 characters) in the same manner.

Repeat steps

for each camera.
When the settings are completed
Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.
Alarm Signal Connection
Outputting alarm signals
Connect switching circuits such as indicator lamps to
the SENSOR ALARM OUT terminals. When the
internal alarm sensor (activity detection sensor) of this
unit sends a trigger, an indication such as an indicator
lightening is possible.
