When setup is completed

Exit from the EASY SETUP display by turning

the Shuttle dial counterclockwise.
The following warning appears:

                       NO

        CHANGE WITH JOG, SET WITH SHUTTLE

Change NO to YES using the Jog dial then turn the
Shuttle dial clockwise.

If it is executed with NO or if alarm recording is
carried out during setup, the initial EASY SETUP
status will be resumed.  Try setup again.

Confirmation of setup
To confirm the setup result, select Main Menu >
2. RECORD SET > 3. NORMAL REC MODE SET.

Settings: If timer recording is to be made

Enter the recording duration, change the timer from
OFF to ON, then enter the Start/Stop time. Also set the
picture quality.
“- - -” to OFF.  If audio recording is needed, change it
to ON.  At that time “A” is added to the indication of
REC RATE as shown below:

When setup is completed
Turn the Shuttle dial counterclockwise.
When the warning is indicated, change NO to YES
using the Jog dial, then turn the Shuttle dial clockwise.

Confirmation of setup
Select Main Menu > 2. RECORD SET > 5. TIMER
SET.
The first DLY line is automatically set, as shown
below.  The SET columns of the second and
subsequent lines are set to OFF.  Note that these
columns become OFF even if they were set to ON
before EASY SETUP.

• If either Mirroring or Pre-alarm recording is to be set

to ON, be sure to make the setting before EASY
SETUP.

• If Mirroring is set to ON, the REC RATE is restricted

at 30 FPS at maximum.  Also, if Pre-alarm recording
is set to ON, the REC RATE is restricted at 15 FPS.
