Menu Settings
If you logged on with ID3, menu operations are
allowed.
Click on
(MENU SETTING) to display the Menu
Select display and click on the menu item on the
display to select it.
Menu settings are achieved with selections from
dropdown lists and registration by clicking on SET or
SAVE.
1. CLOCK SET: To set the built-in clock of the HSR-
X206/X206P.
You can set it in the same procedure as with
LANGUAGE/CLOCK SET on the recorder on page 57.
2. SUMMER TIME (DAYLIGHT SAVINGS) SET/
EXT. CLOCK SET: To perform the settings
required for the summer (daylight-savings) time and
external clock adjustment.
You can set the same items as with LANGUAGE/CLOCK
SET on the recorder on page 57.
3. HOLIDAY SET: To specify holidays.
You can specify with the same procedure as with
HOLIDAY SET on the recorder on page 38.
4. RECORDING AREA SET: To display the
information regarding the recording areas of the
built-in hard disk of the HSR-X206/X206P. While
you cannot change the area assignment via the
network, the AREA FULL RESET buttons are
valid.
Operate them in the same manner as with RECORDING
AREA SET on the recorder on page 60.
5. RECORDING CONDITIONS SET: To set
OVERWRITE function, etc.
You can set the same items as with RECORDING
CONDITIONS SET on the recorder on page 61.
6. NORMAL REC MODE SET: To set the
conditions for normal recording.
You can set the same items as with NORMAL REC
MODE SET on the recorder on page 25.
7. PROGRAM SET/PRE REVERSE: To specify the
program recording and the pre-reverse time.
You can set the same items as with PROGRAM REC SET
and PRE REVERSE on the recorder on page 26 or 44.
8. TIMER SET: To set the conditions for timer
recording.
You can set them with the same procedure as with TIMER
SET on the recorder on page 37.
9. ALARM REC MODE SET: To set the conditions
for alarm recording.
You can set the same items as with ALARM REC MODE
SET on the recorder on page 32.
10. DISPLAY SET: To turn on/off the on-screen data
items.
You can set in the same manner as with DISPLAY SET on
the recorder on page 62.
11. BUZZER SET: To turn on/off the buzzers.
You can set the same items as with BUZZER SET on the
recorder on page 63.
12. HDD SET: To display the information regarding
the hard disk expansion set on HDD SET on the
recorder
(page 55)
. Only selection of drive for
playback is allowed via the network.
13. NETWORK SET: To set the conditions for
network connection.
You can set the same items as with NETWORK SET on
the recorder on page 54.
You can select NETWORK SPEED from the
dropdown list. Set other items by directly entering
the values.
Note
When you change the settings, network connection
is automatically cut off and the message
“NETWORK DISCONNECTED” will be displayed.
Make network connection again with the new
settings.
14. MASK SET: To set the conditions for masking.
You can set in the same way as with MASK SET on the
recorder on page 22.
15. POWER LOSS/USED TIME: To display the
information of power failure, usage time, and
firmware version as POWER LOSS/USED TIME of
the recorder
(page 88)

16. INITIALIZATION LOG: To display the
information of initialization and recording restart as
INITIALIZATION LOG of the recorder
(page 88)
