Connect an oscilloscope to each test point (TP) on the
VA-163 extension board. Make sure that the video
level of each channel is within the specification 1. If
not, perform adjustment of error channel as follows:
(1) Decrease the value of “V reg” on page “Board
Config” in the direction of minus within the limit
of
_
30 hex.
(2) Increase the value of “V sub” until the video level
meets the specification 1.

If it is impossible to meet the specification 1, make
sure that the specification 2 is met. If not, perform
adjustment in accordance with the above procedures.

Shoot a highlight object (halogen lamp, etc.), and
check to see that there is no vertical overflow under-
neath the light object on the monitor screen. If the
vertical overflow is visibly shown on the monitor
screen, go back to step 3, then readjust V sub [G] until
the specification 2 is met.

Make sure that there is no vertical overflow in the Red
channel (R-ch). If the vertical overflow is visibly
shown, go back to step 3, then readjust V sub [R] until
the specification 2 is met.
File Store

When the factory adjusted V sub value has been changed,
be sure to execute the OHB file store.
Set the menu follows.
