Issue B3
16. After
CLOSE
has been clicked, it will become greyed out and
Active
will appear to indicate the
mechanism is moving.
17. When the release mechanism movemnet has completed, the
OPEN/CLOSE
button indicates
the next position of the release mechanism.
Note
Deployment of the transponder with the ‘D’ shackle pin fitted to retain the release mechanism
in the closed position will prevent the release mechanism from opening. This will result in the
transponder being irretrievable from the seabed. Make sure the ‘D’ shackle pin is removed when
the release mechanism locked is in the closed position.
18. Remove the ‘D’ shackle pin from the retaining hole and refit to the ‘D’ shackle inserted through
the release mechanism.
9.3.5 Creating a Test Report
On completion of a functional testing of the transponder a test report can be created. The report will list
all information provided on the 6G Setup tab of the 6G Terminal Lite software.
