D. Indicator error clearing
1. Press and hold the “Press to Test” switch for the fuel quantity gages at the PILOT’S panel until all
indicators display “ERR” and “0”.
NOTE: The indicators will display “ERR” and “0” at varying times. Hold the switch down only until all
indicators display the same. Holding the switch down for longer than 30 seconds will store an error “4”.
2. Release the “Press to Test” switch and the indicators will initiate an error display and self test. The
indicators will cycle through at 2 second intervals, error code displays, all segments on, all segments
off and maximum fuel with 100 percent analog display. Then the indicator will return to displaying fuel.
NOTE: Error codes will not appear if none are stored.
3. To clear error codes the “Press to Test” switch must be depressed again during the error code display
sequence. The indicator will initiate the clearing function by restarting the error display, cycle through
the self-test display and display “CLr ERR” prior to returning to display normal fuel weight.
3. Wait one minute to make sure that no error codes appear.
5. Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
A. Close the access door, 6540, for the refuel control panel (P15).
B. Remove the locks on the leading edge flaps (Ref 27-81-00/201).
C. Retract the leading edge flaps (Ref 27-81-00/201).
D. Remove the electrical power, if it is not necessary for other tasks (Ref 24-22-00/201).
