(f) Set the power switch to OFF.
(g) Disconnect the probes from the test unit.
(12) Connect the test equipment (Fig. 502).
(a) Connect the test harness to the airplane wire bundle.
(b) Connect the test harness to the test unit.
(c) Measure the empty tank resistances.
(d) Set the power switch on the test unit to ON.
(e) Set the RESISTANCE FUNCTION switch to each of these positions.
1) Make sure that each resistance shown on the test unit is more than the applicable
minimum resistance:

(13) Do this task: Fuel Summation Unit Installation or V-Ref/Totalizer installation as applicable (AMM
28-41-04/401).
(14) Do this task: Refueling indicator installation (AMM 28-41-04/401).
(15) Verify that capacitance trimmers are set per paragraph 4.A.5.
(16) Measure the empty tank capacitances (Fig. 503).
(a) Set the DISPLAY SELECT switch to CAP.
(b) Set the CAPACITANCE FUNCTION switch to A/C
(c) Measure the capacitance of the tank units.
1) The capacitance must have these values with the applicable tolerance:
