(4) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) EP GND FUELING
2) FUEL
QTY
3) Push the test switch on the indicator to make sure the indicator operates.
(5) Do these steps to make sure the fuel quantity indicators are installed in the correct position:
(a) Write down the fuel quantities shown by each of the fuel quantity indicators.
(b) Disconnect the connector D884 at the bussing plug for the No. 1 main tank on the front spar.
(c) Make sure the indicator for the No. 1 tank shows zero fuel quantity and an error code.
(d) Make sure the indicators for the center tank and the No. 2 tank show the same quantities that
you wrote down before.
(e) Connect the D884 connector again.
(f) Disconnect the connector D886 at the center tank-bussing plug on the rear in the wheel well.
(g) Make sure the fuel quantity indicator for the center tank shows zero fuel quantity and an error
code.
(h) Make sure the fuel quantity indicators for the No. 1 and the No. 2 tanks show the fuel
quantities that you wrote down before.
(i) Connect the connector D886 again.
(j) Disconnect the connector D888 at the bussing plug for the No. 2 fuel tank on the front spar.
(k) Make sure the No. 2 tank fuel quantity indicator shows zero fuel quantity with an error code.
(l) Make sure the indicators for the No. 1 tank and the center tank show the fuel quantities that
you wrote down before.
(m) Connect the connector D888 again.
(n) Clear any error codes stored per AMM 28-41-04/501.
