FUEL SUMMATION UNIT – REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General

A. This procedure has two tasks:

(1) A task to remove the fuel summation unit.

(2) A task to install the fuel summation unit.

2. Fuel Summation Unit Removal

A. Access

(1) Location Zone

(a) 102

Control Cabin Right

B. Procedure

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel

1) FUEL

QTY

2) EP GND FUELING

(2) Loosen the 4 mounting screws that attach the fuel summation unit to the first officer’s auxiliary

panel.

(3) Carefully move the fuel summation unit out of the first officer’s auxiliary to get access to the rear

of the FSU.

(4) Disconnect the FSU connector, D3224, from the rear of the FSU

(5) Put a cap on the connector and stow it

(6) Remove the DO-NOT-REMOVE tags and close these circuit breakers:

(a) On the P6 panel

1) FUEL

QTY

2) EP GRD FUELING.
