8.1 IPM12 basic settings
8.1.1 Input of IPM12 Address
General remarks
The following basic settings serve to ex change
data between the IPM 12 pulse meters and
the PGA 3 programming and display unit. The
following individual basic setting is made::
input of the IPM 12 address by means of
controllers in the respective IPM 12 pulse
meter.
JEach IPM 12 is assigned an address of its
own, beginning with address ”1”.
This should be assigned to the first IPM 12 in a
chain. The further addresses are assigned in
ascending order for the respectively following
IPM 12.
Loosen cover screws (4x) (

) (cross recessed)
on the front (2) of the IPM12 pulse meter
Carefully loosen the front (

) of the IPM 12
pulse meter and remove from the guide on
the backn
There are two controllers (
x1
) (
x10
) on the
printed circuit board located on the back of
the front (

). Addresses 1 to 9 are given to
the first nine pulse meters on the right-hand
controller (
x1
). The left-hand controller (
x10
)
is used to assign further addresses (beyond
the nine address) in decades
Assign the address (
x1
) (
x10
) with a luster
terminal screwdriver
Carefully insert the front of the IPM 12 pulse
meter in the guide on the back (

nsert cover screws (4x) (

) and tighten
evenly
When removing the cover make sure
the cover screws cannot fall out.
Example = address 1
