To connect a RS-485 bus:

Make sure that the device is not connected to the power supply, or that the power supply is

disconnected or isolated.

Turn the device on its side and remove the terminal cover located on the bottom of the device by

turning it counterclockwise with a pin wrench or

⁄

-inch ratcheting socket wrench.

Remove the cable gland at the cable entry that is closer to the RS-485 bus. Loosen the cable gland

cap by turning it counterclockwise with a wrench.

Slide the cable gland over the incoming signal cable.
