When installing the device using built-in mounting feet, the main board becomes
inaccessible. Make all necessary electrical connections before installing the device
mechanically.
To install the device:
1.
Position the device on the surface you want to install it on.
2.
Mark the position of the mounting feet on the surface with a marker and remove the device from
the installation area.
3.
Drill holes on the installation surface on the spots you marked in the previous step. Use a drill bit
that is suitable for the material that the installation surface is made of and that corresponds to the
screw thread you are using.
NOTICE
Do not drill the holes on the installation surface through the mounting feet. Doing so
can damage the mounting feet or the device enclosure.
4.
Insert a wall anchor into each hole on the installation surface.
5.
Position the device on the installation surface so that the holes align with the mounting feet.
6.
Secure the device in place by tightening a fastener into each wall anchor through the mounting feet.
If you use screws that have a small head, place a washer between each screw and
mounting foot.
