Figure 15: Influence of ambient temperature on the output signal
Flow velocity
The built-in fan draws dust particles through the internal flow chamber at a constant flow velocity. The
device monitors the fan performance to ensure that the flow velocity remains stable.
If the surrounding airflow at the installation location is >5 m/s, it can affect the internal
flow velocity of the device. This can decrease the accuracy of the measurement results.
