Table 2 has the following columns:
•
Port
Shows the available ports. The port is made up of the module number and the port
number, for example port 0.1 is module 0, port 1.
•
Setting
Select the setting from the drop-down list. You have the following options:

Up
Error handling is triggered when the port changes to the active status.
(From "Link down" to "Link up")
–
Down
Error handling is triggered when the port changes to the inactive status.
(From "Link up" to "Link down")
–
"-" (disabled)
The error handling is not triggered.
Procedure
Configure error monitoring for a port
1.
From the relevant drop-down list, select the options of the slots / ports whose
connection status you want to monitor.
2.
Click the "Set Values" button.
Configure error monitoring for all ports
1.
Select the required setting from the drop-down list of the "Setting" column.
2.
Click the "Copy to Table" button. The setting is adopted for all ports of table 2.
3.
Click the "Set Values" button.
