3.4.7.2 DIagnosis
In special error situations the ES 030 user can send a diagnos
tic message to the PROFIBUS master.
Action/reaction
The user stores his message in DB 1 DW 95/96. The user then
sets bit 4 in FY 23 and the message is sent to the PROFIBUS
master. The diagnostic status remains in the PROFIBUS master
until the user resets this status on the ES 030-K. The user re
sets the diagnosis by resetting bit 4 of FY 23.
3.4.8
System Characteristics
3.4.8.1 System Start
There are two methods to perform a system start:
By the user
Remove supply voltage from the ES 030-K (pull mains
connector).
Initiate a voltage return (re-insert mains connector) while
holding the test mode key depressed (key 1, upper left and
key switch horizontal). The ES 030-K will be in the hardware
test mode.
Remove voltage to the ES 030-K again and initiate voltage
return.
By the user program
By calling up OB 20 in the user program, whereby the OB
must only be called up once. After executing OB 20, the
cycle in progress will be interrupted and the user program
(FB 1, OB 1) will be re-started.
The system start will reset all flags and data block to their
original values.
3.4.8.2 Power Failure
There are two methods to generate a voltage failure:
Power failure
By removing the supply voltage (220 V).
Through the user program
By calling up OB 22 in the user program, whereby the OB
must only be called up once. After executing OB 22, the
cycle in progress will be interrupted and the user program
(FB 1, OB 1) will be re-started.
Data blocks will not be altered by a voltage failure. The
following flags will be altered: F 1.0, F 11.4.
Remember:
On MOBY applications, the parameter-
ization for presence (F 16.6/17.6) must be
re-initiated after voltage return and
system start.
After a system start or OB 20 (simulation
OB system start), or after a voltage return or
OB 22 (simulation OB power failure), the
MOBY card may not be addressed until the
identifier is entered in DB 1, DW 67 (approx.
1.5 sec.).
3.4.8.3 Updating the System Flags
By calling OB 39 from the user program, FY 12 to FY 19 will be
processed immediately by the system.
3.4.8.4
Cyclic Processing
After execution of OB 1 (FB 1) (end of cycle), the digital outputs
of the process image will be transferred to the digital output of
the slot cards. The digital inputs will be scanned and
transferred into the process image. Commands with PB/PY ...
are not processed at the end of the cycle, but will be processed
immediately, bypassing the process image (T PB/PY .. will
also be transferred to the process image). This must be
considered in the test mode when setting breakpoints
because the scan of the inputs and the setting of the outputs in
the program affects only the process image.
Keyboard inputs will be processed independently of the cycle
(the entry into the flag 25 will only be performed at the
beginning of a cycle, however).
The serial interfaces and MOBY will be processed at the
beginning of a cycle.
Updating of the date and the time also occurs at the beginning
of a cycle.
